Supply Chain Business Analyst

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $93,600 - $114,400 per year

Location: Fort Mill, SC - Hybrid Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst with expertise in Supply Chain Systems, particularly in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). In this role, you will closely collaborate with business stakeholders to assess system needs, providing crucial guidance throughout the project lifecycle from concept to execution. You will document requirements and ensure that all parties reach agreement on complex projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage in business analysis activities, working alongside key users to enhance business processes.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to collect detailed requirements from stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities and discuss requirements with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on projects, including:
    • Capturing Business User Stories and Requirements
    • Creating models such as process flow diagrams and wireframes to illustrate solutions
    • Providing analytical support to improve product performance by understanding system capabilities and user expectations.
    • Developing detailed Functional Designs for technical teams.
    • Creating and executing test plans, and addressing defects.
    • Participating in Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that the delivered solutions meet business needs.
    • Creating user documentation for new processes and system enhancements.
    • Employing logical methods to solve complex problems with effective solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting IT systems and processes in a complex environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jira, QTest, and Jenkins is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and executing basic PL/SQL queries.
  • Proficient in creating process flow charts using MS Visio or similar tools.
