The firm's capital markets team works across acquisitions, development, and lending platforms to structure financing, manage investor relationships, and support the firm's broader investment strategies.

Position Summary

The Capital Markets Senior Analyst will be responsible for assisting the debt and equity financing activities in all aspects including fundraising, investor relations and various capital markets initiatives while collaborating with multiple internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to assist investment teams with portfolio analytics across debt and equity strategies
  • Maintain and update quarterly track record data across all strategies
Material Preparation
  • Support fundraising activities by creating and updating marketing materials such as pitch books, private placement memorandums (PPMs), and due diligence questionnaires. Coordinate due diligence, data rooms, and third-party reports during active financing processes
  • Conduct research on capital market trends, lender activity, interest rates, and financing benchmarks
  • Maintain databases of comparable financing terms and market intelligence
Investor Relations
  • Assist in managing relationships with banks, debt funds, equity partners, and other capital providers
  • Prepare regular updates, reporting packages, and communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate with borrowers, institutional investment partners, leverage lenders, Slate management, internal deal team and individual investors on various investment inquiries
  • Preparation of various reports provided to investors periodically and completing ad hoc requests
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, required. Concentration in Finance, Economics or Business preferred
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private capital advisory, private equity/credit, or commercial real estate is preferred
  • Technical Skills: Must have a high level of proficiency with Excel, including financial modeling. Experience with PowerPoint and Word to create investor materials is required
  • Soft Skills: A positive and proactive work ethic. Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful. Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. Superior written and presentation skills. Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently
