What You'll Do:

  • Guide a diverse team on a portfolio of technology projects, utilizing deep expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver regulatory-compliant solutions.

  • Stay at the forefront of technology by exploring new trends, participating in tech communities, mentoring engineering members, and occasionally contributing to coding and code evaluations.

  • Work closely with digital product managers to create robust, cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to enhance their financial well-being.

  • Employ a strong skill set in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source databases and Container Orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (excluding internships).

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

  • 4 years or more of team leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.

  • 9+ years of experience in languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, or Python.

  • 3+ years of experience with any major cloud service (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).

  • 4+ years of experience working with open source frameworks.

  • 3+ years in large data processing (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue/EMR).

  • 2+ years of experience leveraging AI in development.

  • 4+ years in leading cloud engineering, DevOps, operational, or SRE functions.

We offer a competitive salary range for this role, which is based on the location: McLean, VA: $225,400 - $257,200, or New York, NY: $245,900 - $280,600.
