Senior Front End Software Engineer w/React
Location: Seattle, WA On site 4 days per week

Strong preference for local candidates (who will be hybrid), but remote is an option for the right candidate.

Hybrid role, with up to 3-4 days onsite work week.

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Front End Engineer w/React to design, code, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet our business requirements. The candidate will coach and mentor team members, perform cross-training, and facilitate information sharing. Additionally creating prototypes for new technologies or frameworks, automating testing and integration activities for new applications, and adhering to software development standards.

Job Duties -
• Be a highly active and leading participant in all scrum ceremonies and instrumental in the delivery of the strategic roadmap.
• Help define project scope & specifications, and estimate resources required to develop the solutions.
• Ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams and monitor timelines & progress.
• Propose architecture and technical solutions.
• Delivery of well-designed, high-quality, fully functional, properly tested features, fixes, and enhancements.
• Responsible for the full software development lifecycle and support.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
• Complete and participate in all Testing cycles.
• Provide subject matter expertise and direction, guidance, and support on complex engagements.

Job Requirements -
• 7+ years experience engineering experience
• 5+ years experience front end engineering using React, JavaScript, CSS
• 3+ years experience with HTML 5
• 3+ years experience with MongoDB
• 3+ years experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker
• 3+ years experience with automated testing frameworks: Playwright and Cypress
• Experience with CICD and DevOps
• Experience with Zustand
Nice to have
• 3+ years experience with PostgresSQL, MongoDB
• 3+ years experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker
• 3+ years experience with automated testing framework: Playright, Cypress
• Experience with CICD and DevOps
• 1+ years experience with Java and Spring Boot
