We are seeking dedicated and compassionate LPNs to become a part of our dynamic healthcare team. As an affiliate of Urgent Team, a leading operator of urgent and family care centers, we offer quality and affordable healthcare services across multiple locations.

Our Services:
We provide a wide range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. All locations are accredited, demonstrating our commitment to safety and quality healthcare.

Job Summary:
As an LPN, you will assist physicians and healthcare providers in delivering excellent care to our patients. Your role includes interviewing patients, taking medical histories, administering injections, maintaining patient charts, and following physician guidelines to ensure optimal patient outcomes. We offer both full-time and PRN (per diem) opportunities, with full-time positions requiring 36-40 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
The duties listed below provide an overview of the position but are not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be assigned.

  • Greet and prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
  • Record health histories and document any abnormal conditions for the physician.
  • Instruct patients on sample collection and tests.
  • Obtain vital signs and escort patients to examination rooms.
  • Assist in preparing supplies and equipment for patient treatment.
  • Administer injections and prescribed medications as directed.
  • Observe and report patients' conditions to physicians.
  • Ensure timely and accurate chart entries and manage patient records.
  • Assist with scheduling tests and obtaining referrals as needed.
  • Manage lab specimens and communicate test results to patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and manage hazardous waste.
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  • Assist providers with physical exams and preparation.
  • Manage inventory of medications and monitor controlled substances.
  • Respond and triage telephone calls for appropriate referrals.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you need:

  • A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing
  • An active AR State or Compact LPN License
  • BLS Certification
