MAU is hiring a Project Consultant for our client in Charlotte, NC.
As a Project Consultant, you will lead the promotion and sales of precast concrete boardwalk systems by applying technical knowledge and consultative expertise to solve client challenges in the greenway and trail construction industry. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Optional work-from-home available on Fridays
  • Occasional travel required


Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage marketing and sales activities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information in both one-on-one and public speaking settings
  • Solid project management abilities
  • Comfortable with consultative marketing and transactional sales approaches
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and functions
  • Must be able to travel as needed


Essential Functions
  • Identify, consult, and implement boardwalk solutions to meet customer needs
  • Apply technical expertise in boardwalk applications to guide clients during the design process
  • Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations to secure favorable product specifications
  • Cultivate relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and public agencies
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for precast boardwalk systems and accessories
  • Operate within a structured marketing and sales system with continuous improvement
  • Provide budget pricing for initial designs and final pricing for project execution
  • Lead field marketing efforts within the assigned territory, focusing on architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies
  • Maintain disciplined use of CRM to track and manage sales and marketing activities


Working Conditions
  • Primarily office-based with virtual and in-person client interaction
  • Travel to job sites, client offices, and industry events as needed
  • Collaborative team environment with cross-functional involvement
