Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week (flexible hours)

This is a Jun-Aug seasonal position with the potential of becoming permanent

As a Marketing Intern with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK®, you won't be stuck behind a desk. Instead, you'll be out and about, engaging with the community, attending exciting events, and demonstrating how we make moving and junk removal stress-free and even enjoyable for our customers.

You'll gain hands-on experience in grassroots marketing, event planning, content development, and networking, all while working with a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities
  • Be a brand ambassador. You'll help build trust in our services by getting to know local businesses and community members.
  • Get creative. Assist with brainstorming and executing fun, out-of-the-box grassroots marketing campaigns.
  • Capture the action. Snap photos and videos at events and during daily operations to use for social media and marketing materials.
  • Hit the road. Represent the company at community events like parades, trade shows, charity functions, golf outings, and more - no two days are the same
  • Stay on the move. Travel regularly to our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations throughout Southern Wisconsin.
  • Keep it fresh. Make sure our display areas look sharp and are stocked with brochures, boxes, and marketing goodies.
  • Track your impact. Help the team gather data and create reports on our marketing efforts.
  • Lend a hand. Jump in and support other marketing tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Previous marketing coursework, volunteer, or work experience is a plus - but not required. We'll train the right person
  • A friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills - you're comfortable talking to anyone, anywhere
  • Solid organization and time management abilities
  • A creative mindset and willingness to pitch ideas
  • Attention to detail and a knack for following through
  • Confidence in starting conversations and building relationships
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • A professional appearance and attitude when representing the brand
  • Willingness to follow company values and maintain integrity in all interactions
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be comfortable with regular travel throughout Southern Wisconsin
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
