A South Bay financial services firm is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their accounting team. This position is newly created and will support financial operations. You’ll work alongside a senior leader who has been with the firm for a number of years, and act as a right-hand person to help streamline and manage accounting tasks. - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate would be a great touch
- Strong Excel proficiency
- GAAP knowledge
- Handle accounts payable activities for personal/domestic entities
- Prepare detailed schedules tracking cash activities and account balances
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
- Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure accounting accuracy
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve financial procedures
- Take on special projects as needed related to personal and family office operations
