We are Star Concessions, a $100Million a year Airport Concessionaire Company owning and operating name brand food and beverage and retail concepts inside the DFW and Dallas Love Field Airports. Our support center is located in Dallas two miles South from the Dallas Love Field Airport.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team for our Restaurant Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of legal principles, particularly in the area of Employment & Contract Law, Restaurant Experience, and Experience with TABC and Dallas Health Permits. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Legal Counsel by managing legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with request for proposals.
Duties
- Conduct thorough document review and prepare necessary legal documents for request for proposals (RFP) and other projects.
- Assist our Legal Counsel in litigation processes by organizing case files and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform legal research to support case preparation and strategy development as well as research for RFP.
- Manage legal case files, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately.
- Provide clerical support including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to prepare for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards in the legal profession.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Notary of Texas
- Proven experience as a Paralegal in Contract or Corporate law. Restaurant group paralegal experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, particularly related to Employment and Contract Law.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in document review and legal case management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A degree or certification in Paralegal studies or related field is required.
