This Opportunity
The Water Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a key technical contributor on projects involving stormwater management, water distribution, and wastewater conveyance systems. This role combines advanced engineering expertise with project delivery responsibilities to support municipal and private-sector clients in planning, design, and implementation of integrated water infrastructure solutions.
Your Impact
- Lead design and analysis of stormwater systems, water/sewer conveyance networks, and related infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for complex water infrastructure challenges.
- Support project managers in scope development, budgeting, and schedule management.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and technical evaluations for system performance and capacity planning.
- Provide quality assurance and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 5+ years of experience in stormwater, water distribution, and wastewater conveyance design.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., SWMM, StormCAD, HEC-RAS) and CAD platforms.
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Master's Degree in Engineering.
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.
