Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Imaging Technologist will ensure optimal patient care during CT procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting CT scans to produce diagnostic quality images while minimizing patient exposure in accordance with ALARA standards.
  • Setting technical equipment parameters and relaying images and clinical information to physicians.
  • Assisting in inventory management and patient scheduling.
  • Taking on-call assignments as needed for after-hours high volume coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start.
  • ARRT Registration RT(R); Advanced level certification in CT preferred.
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • No experience required; 6 months preferred.
