Job Description:

Pay Range: $70hr - $100hr
  • The SAP WM / EWM Consultant will lead business process blueprinting, requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and cross-functional integration for Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • The role supports high-volume distribution environments and ensures optimized warehouse operations through SAP best practices and custom enhancements.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive business blueprinting workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct As-Is and To-Be discussions and map business process flows.
  • Gather requirements from Warehouse and Shipping teams, analyze needs, and provide industry-standard solutions.
  • Configure, develop, and test SAP WM and SAP S/4HANA EWM changes.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for configuration, development, and data migration in WM and EWM.
  • Collaborate with modules including MM, QM, PP, and SD.
  • Document processes and train teams on newly implemented solutions.
  • dapt quickly to changes in timelines and task sequences.
  • Develop and execute test plans for SAP WM and EWM configurations.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 10+ years of SAP experience.
  • t least 2 end-to-end implementations with hands-on SAP WM configuration.
  • t least 2 end-to-end implementations with hands-on SAP EWM configuration.
  • Experience integrating SAP WM / EWM with Kardex software.
  • Experience working in high-volume distribution centers managing batch and serialized products.
  • Expertise in Cartonization, Quality Inspection Engine, Quantity Classifications, and Warehouse Order Optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP EWM master data integration, inbound/outbound processes, internal movements, cycle counting, and kitting.
  • Experience integrating with shop floor orders and kitting orders.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse master data and organizational structures in WM/EWM.
  • Experience with complex storage types, put-away and stock removal strategies, and BADI usage in EWM.
  • Hands-on knowledge of inbound processes, palletization, consolidation, and deconsolidation using handling units.
  • Strong expertise in outbound shipments and stock removal in WM/EWM.
  • Experience with handling units in inbound, internal movements, and outbound processes.
  • Experience with warehouse internal processes including posting change notices and production order staging.
  • Knowledge of Kanban replenishment and warehouse-to-warehouse replenishment.
  • Strong EWM experience in replenishment, cycle counting, physical inventory, and warehouse reorganization.
  • Experience with exception handling and cross-process settings in EWM.
  • Working experience with the Post Processing Framework (PPF).
  • Project stock management experience in WM.
  • Experience customizing WM movement types.
  • Strong knowledge of Wave Management and wave templates.
  • Expertise in batch, serial, and handling unit management.
  • Experience with cycle counting and interfaces with external WMS systems.
  • Understanding of ITS Mobile / SAP Fiori, RF devices, RF configuration, and queue management.
  • Experience with outputs, label printing, and scanner technologies.
  • Experience developing WM reports and using Warehouse Activity Monitor.
  • Exposure to slotting and warehouse reorganization.
  • Integration knowledge of LE, WM, MM with SD, PP, QM, FI, and CO.
  • Experience with LSMW, batch job monitoring, and IDoc monitoring.
  • Understanding of ABAP debugging and custom enhancements including BADIs, function modules, and ALV reports.
  • Experience working with security teams on roles and authorization.
  • Daily queue management and issue resolution in S/4 and EWM.
  • Experience writing Functional Design Specifications (FDS).
