This is a Fulltime/Direct Hire position located in the Western Suburbs - 100% on-site
Our Direct client is NOT looking for more than 7 years of experience in IT.
The Software Project Manager will lead full life?cycle software development projectsfrom initial scoping and planning to deployment and post?launch success. Youll guide project teams, streamline communication, manage client expectations, and ensure operational excellence across 30+ active accounts.
You will also support broader PM needs within the organization, including non?software projects, internal operational initiatives, and leader?to?leader coordination.
Responsibilities- Track project budgets, profitability, and financial reconciliation.
- Partner with leadership on estimates, pricing, and contract structures.
- Ensure accurate time tracking, billing, and scope management.
- Support pre?sales discussions and technical scoping when needed.
- Manage end?to?end software project lifecycles, ensuring timely, high?quality delivery.
- Define project vision, scope, timelines, and success metrics with clients and engineering teams.
- Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate UAT, deployment, and go?live activities.
- Lead retrospectives and drive continuous improvement in processes and delivery quality.
