Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Details: Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures under radiologist direction Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for both emergent and scheduled cases Operate angiographic and fluoroscopic imaging systems according to safety standards Position and monitor patients while ensuring comfort and compliance with procedural protocols Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC Radiant or applicable RIS/PACS system Adhere to all radiation safety and sterile technique protocols Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration, and image quality review On-call responsibilities from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with immediate availability by phone/pager Respond to emergency call-ins within 30 minutes of notification Provide imaging support for emergent procedures including trauma embolizations, drain placements, and central line insertions Record all call-in activity for administrative and payroll documentation Maintain procedural inventory and restock supplies for subsequent shifts Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nurses, and support staff Contribute to ongoing process improvement and safety initiatives Uphold departmental standards for patient care, professionalism, and confidentiality Facility: This medical center offers comprehensive healthcare services with a specialized interventional radiology department equipped with state-of-the-art angiographic and fluoroscopic imaging systems.
