Title: Senior Engineer - Data & Analytics

Location: Chicagoland area

Compensation: $100-130K base + Bonus

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to help our client scale their enterprise data capabilities. This role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines across AWS and on-prem environments, driving analytics that power smarter business decisions across finance, logistics, and procurement.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, AWS, and SQL
  • Build and optimize data warehouses, automate workflows, and ensure performance at scale
  • Partner with internal product owners to translate data requirements into actionable insights
  • Develop dashboards and analytical tools that enable real-time decision-making
  • Lead innovation through AI and automation initiatives (RAG, LLMs, chatbots)
  • Mentor junior engineers and champion data engineering best practices
What You Bring:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in modern data engineering and analytics
  • Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena)
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery and data modeling principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
