Senior Project Manager Healthcare role at McGough The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) will plan and lead key projects or multiple projects from inception through deployment, providing day?to?day management and oversight of project resources, tasks, issues, timelines, cost and scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the success and profitability of projects, including financial stewardship and client satisfaction.
  • Guide and mentor project management staff to develop the next level of their careers.
  • Foster and build relationships with owners, design partners, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Champion company initiatives and promote the McGough way.
  • Activities include:
    • Preconstruction and business development respond to RFPs, conduct interviews, lead preconstruction effort, manage client and design partner relationships, coordinate page turns, and pursue new leads.
    • Self?performed work oversee quantity take?offs, estimate labor, materials and equipment; approve CMBS schedules.
    • Estimating and bidding review estimates, present to owners, assess subcontractors.
    • Scheduling lead preconstruction scheduling, review construction schedules, act as Last Planner coach.
    • Project oversight ensure proper staffing, financial health, safety, site walks, and contractual compliance.
    • Project management oversight coach and mentor staff, assess training needs.
    • Post?construction record cost history, facilitate lessons?learned meetings.
    • Other responsibilities participate in company business development, attend meetings, support Lean initiatives, and as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Four?year degree in Construction Management or related field.
    • 10+ years managing large or simultaneous projects, specifically in Technology/Life Science and/or Healthcare sectors.
    • Strong partnership and trust building with owners, design firms, and subcontractors.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
    • Detail?oriented and able to prioritize and multi?task under time constraints.
    • Self?starter, motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
    • Strong computer skills, including Excel.
  • Preferred:
    • Estimating and field experience.
    • Experience with self?performed scopes.
    • Scheduling experience.



Office & Travel

Office: Various jobsites and/or corporate/regional office. Travel: In addition to regional meetings, overnight travel may be involved.

Physical Requirements

Position involves extended sitting at a computer terminal, occasional standing, bending, walking, and lifting. Employees must visit construction job sites, which may expose them to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme temperatures. Climbing ladders, walking long distances, and climbing stairs are also required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $125,000 to $175,000 (excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses). Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance; retirement plans; voluntary benefit plans; parental leave; paid time off; and holiday pay.
