Clinical Director

The client is seeking a Clinical Director to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for our Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, and Support Staff. The focus will be on enhancing the skills of our team to effectively support individuals with severe problem behaviors across various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training programs for behavior analysts, behavior technicians, and support staff.
• Provide hands-on training and feedback to staff to enhance their skills.
• Observe BT/BA interactions with clients in person virtual or on recorded video and provide specific feedback and training with follow up to ensure performance improvement as needed.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent training and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with management on program design best suited to Effectively provide quality behavior support and enhance staff performance.
• Develop or enhance classroom based training presentations and workshops to enhance staff skills.
• Connect training information to actual client challenges to make them more effective.
• Develop and implement a training program that will enhance the skill set of BTs and BAs to improve their ability to provide effective training to direct support staff.
• Develop training programs to meet support staff needs coupled with client challenges.
• This position will split between in office/classroom and in field (service settings).
• This position will focus on training and development of skill sets and not on direct implementation or plan development.
• Time spent in the field will be to evaluate service needs of clients compared to the skill set of assigned personnel and focus on skill set improvement.
• Success will be measured by staff performance improvement and indirectly by client outcome improvement.
• Successful Completion of Safe Crisis Management Trainer Certification (Anchor Sponsored)
• Partner with Recruiting and Operations Management to identify, onboard and train high performing behavior support personnel

• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Experience working with clients with severe problem behaviors.
• Successful experience in diverse settings, including schools, day programs, private homes, group homes, and supervised apartments.

• BCBA Supervisor (minimum of 3 years in the field) (Preferred)
• Experience working with DDD population
• Knowledge of DDD behavior support requirements
• Knowledge in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder/Intellectual disability/Developmental disability
• Experience working with both children and adults (highly preferred)
• BCBA supervisory experience and/or knowledge of the roles of DSP's, BT's, and BCBAs in training (Required)
• Ability to present information clearly and effectively
• Experience with google softwares, excel etc.
• Experience with adult education and curriculum development
• Must be able to work in PM and a Weekend Shift
• If BCBA, must have liability insurance

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to adapt training methods to different environments and staff needs.
• Work days locations and hours:
• Anticipated work schedule is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with some flexibility expected on an as needed basis to accomplish the objectives of the role and support the training and development needs of the organization.
• The Clinical Director will have flexibility to adjust the work schedule with the approval of supervisor.

• Office 50%: Admin office in West Orange Or Future Operations Office in Clifton
• Field 50%: Field assignments including day programs and other community locations
• Field Assignments are eligible for mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy or use of company vehicle as available
