Computer Support Specialists

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the program functions.
  • Providing analysis of data.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries.
  • Run and maintain data pipeline processes.
  • Map existing databases and perform routine database maintenance as specifically directed.
  • Provide various aspects of general computer support.
  • Provide training and support for Department of Health staff, providers and consumers.
Pay Rate: $34.00/Hour

Required Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent),
  • Two-year minimum experience working in a professional IT based setting,
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, SharePoint and Access),
  • The ability to enter data into, and extract data from, electronic databases,
  • The ability to work independently and on a team with different personalities,
  • The ability to handle multiple, shifting priorities,
  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external entities
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individuals able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
  • Willing and able to multitask and move from assignment to assignment as deadlines and priorities change.
  • Knowledge of complex databases and how to learn new processes quickly and efficiently is a must.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external consumers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience creating and maintaining databases and mapping existing databases
  • Experience in SQL, Python, R or Tableau
