Job Description

Join our team as a Packer, where you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. This role requires precision in counting and weighing to ensure accurate packaging. You will also conduct quality checks to ensure labels are correctly applied, free of bubbles, misprints, and ensuring that lot codes are present. The work environment is fast-paced, and you must be able to maintain the speed of the production line.

Responsibilities

• Pack lip balm and personal care products into boxes.

• Count and weigh products to ensure accuracy.

• Perform quality checks on labels, expiration dates, and for any misprints.

• Maintain the pace of the production line to ensure efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in packing, production, and packaging processes.

• Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, palletizing, and stacking.

• Skills in picking, inspecting, and labeling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a packer in a similar fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, requiring you to stand for the entire shift. You will be provided with a locker on your first day to store personal items. You can carry a clear bag containing a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The manufacturing location also serves as the corporate headquarters. The 3rd shift team is smaller and quieter, with only a supervisor present, requiring independent work

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
