Job Title: Software Engineer
Location - Remote
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software, specialized utility programs, and enhancements to existing systems. This role involves working with both new and legacy systems to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and fine-tune software applications, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Gather and analyze system requirements, create detailed specifications, and implement effective software solutions.
  • Review enhancement requests, assess feasibility, and provide recommendations.
  • Customize and integrate system software to meet specific client requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including software specifications and test plans.
  • Write, test, and debug programs according to specifications.
  • Modify existing programs to meet updated standards, performing thorough unit testing.
  • Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure software meets functional and performance criteria.
  • Perform post-implementation validation and resolve issues identified during testing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 0-2 years of software development experience (internships, academic projects, or co-op experience preferred).
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience in large systems software design and development.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and unit testing for both new and legacy systems.
  • Solid programming skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
