By exhibiting exceptional teamwork, curiosity, and care, the Retail Store Sales Associate will assist their team to fulfil Blick's commitment to our customers, the Arts, and local communities. The Retail Store Sales Associate maintains outstanding customer service, provides product knowledge, and supports store operations including housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, POS operations, and loss prevention in adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Consistently deliver superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and skills training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Complete and utilize programs: Blick Onboarding Training, Blick Sales Training, Preferred Customer Program, and Special Orders.
- Maintain an energetic and positive attitude in all customer interactions.
- Coordinate merchandise set-ups, apply visual standards and techniques, and help maintain the store as directed by management.
- Follow directions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Report low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as needed.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- 6 months of previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
- Regular attendance in accordance with retail attendance policy.
