THE ROLE

Mint House is hiring a Hospitality Associate to support the on-site team across all areas of the guest experience throughout the Nashville market. This is not a traditional front desk role. It's a hands-on position that includes assisting with arrivals when needed, inspecting rooms before guest check-ins, responding to in-stay requests, and handling light maintenance tasks like replacing lightbulbs or unclogging toilets. You'll also conduct routine property walks, help ensure a clean and safe environment, and professionally enforce Mint House policies as needed, including addressing unregistered guests or disturbances to protect the comfort and security of all guests.

AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL

• Respond promptly to guest requests, issues, and other outreach in real-time to deliver a seamless and delightful experience to our guests.
• Conduct arrival inspections and unit departure checks to ensure that all apartments consistently meet or exceed Mint House's brand standards.
• Act as a helpful resource in the field to troubleshoot guest issues in real-time and promptly report any guest maintenance concerns or issues during a guest's Mint House stay.
• Foster a guest-centric culture to drive exceptional results and create a positive and welcoming environment.
• Ensure all guest areas and apartments are well-maintained and inspect appliances and amenities to verify their cleanliness and proper functioning for our guests' comfort.
• Master our software systems to assist guests with their stay, reservations, and communication amongst the team effectively.
• Perform preventative and repair maintenance work to ensure that our property is well-maintained, adhering to established quality and sustainability standards, all while treating our guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Replace basic electrical fixtures, handle minor plumbing tasks, and assist with furniture assembly to keep our property in top-notch condition.
• Conduct regular property walks, both interior and exterior, to promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for all guests.
• Act as a first point of contact in handling disturbances, enforcing Mint House policies when needed (including addressing unregistered guests), and helping maintain a secure and respectful atmosphere throughout the property.
• Travel between Mint House properties within the Nashville area may be required based on business needs.
• Complete simple maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing lightbulbs, unclogging toilets, or adjusting loose fixtures.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Requires strong hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel setting, with housekeeping experience considered a valuable plus.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for traveling between properties.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to assist with staffing coverage in case of call-outs and openness to working evenings and weekends.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills with significant attention to detail to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Understanding the importance of creating a meaningful experience and bringing that spirit to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction.

• Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 USD

Mint Houses' compensation philosophy is driven by our company value of fostering inclusivity. To best ensure pay equity, we typically bring in fresh mints near the middle of our listed compensation bands and lead with the best overall compensation package (i.e. all people hired at the same experience & level are brought in at the same salary, equity, and benefits).
