Business Analyst Specialist

Anika Systems is seeking a dedicated and skilled Business Analyst Specialist to join our growing Federal team. This position currently offers remote work flexibility, but please note that future adjustments to work location may occur based on client directives, contractual obligations, or company policies. Any changes will be communicated ahead of time. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements that meet client needs.
- Create comprehensive user stories that include acceptance criteria.
- Identify, develop, and implement business process enhancements.
- Analyze data using Enterprise BI tools to uncover patterns, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead individual tasks, provide task estimates, engage in project events, and suggest alternative delivery methods.
- Participate actively in Agile meetings including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the Human Resource Management team and other functional areas to analyze and interpret data.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Support the formulation of data-driven strategies to enhance federal HR processes and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst, adept at engaging stakeholders to refine business and technical requirements.
- Proven skills in defining functional requirements, mitigating conflicts, evaluating risks, and gathering feedback.
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments and can manage multiple projects simultaneously, actively participating in Agile practices.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
