Remote Systems Support Specialist

Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Remote Systems Support Specialist responsible for maintaining and supporting mission-critical Radiology imaging and workflow systems deployed globally. You will leverage your expertise in Enterprise Imaging product infrastructure and industry-standard technical training to effectively investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer support cases and troubleshoot issues related to Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions in active customer environments.
- Diagnose software and hardware malfunctions utilizing knowledge of Change Healthcare software, local and wide area networks, Windows servers, enterprise-class hardware, Oracle databases, and other relevant systems.
- Implement or modify complex configuration changes to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including support, engineering, services, and sales, to resolve customer cases and implement effective solutions.
- Engage in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, contributing to team education and growth.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and system administration functions at customer facilities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for team education and suggest professional development paths to management.
- Develop in-depth product knowledge with a commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience/certification (e.g., MCSE, A+).
- Availability for rotating shifts from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST, with the ability to provide on-call pager support.
- At least 2 years of experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting software and computer systems.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP networking and routing.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of clinical workflow and HL7/DICOM standards.
- DOD security clearance or willingness to obtain security clearance post-employment.
Working Conditions: General office demands apply. Employees may need to qualify for a company credit card for travel expenses or use personal credit cards with reimbursement.
