We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead strategic SAP initiatives across AWS, driving excellence in customer experience and technical delivery for all SAP workloads.

As a Technical Program Manager for SAP on AWS, you will orchestrate complex technical programs across engineering, partners, and strategic account teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions on AWS.

You will be responsible for driving technical innovation, operational excellence, and superior customer experiences for all SAP workloads on AWS.

Key job responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategy

- Lead cross-functional programs spanning engineering, partner ecosystem, and customer-facing teams

- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for SAP on AWS initiatives

- Drive technical decision-making processes and architectural governance

- Establish program KPIs and success metrics aligned with business objectives

Technical Delivery & Innovation

- Oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP technical solutions on AWS

- Drive architectural decisions for complex SAP implementations

- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance SAP workload performance

- Ensure technical excellence and best practices across all deliverables

Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across AWS, SAP, and partner organizations

- Collaborate with strategic accounts to understand requirements and ensure successful outcomes

- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and executive leadership

- Drive alignment across multiple teams and organizations

Risk & Quality Management

- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks

- Ensure compliance with AWS and SAP standards and best practices

- Implement quality assurance processes for program deliverables

- Monitor and report on program health and metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 2+ years of software development experience

- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
