JOB TITLE: Mobile Developer - React Native
LOCATION: Fremont, CA
DURATION: 6 month contract to hire
RATE RATE: $65/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client's software team powers all internal service applications used in their service centers, collision centers, global customer relationship management, insurance claims etc. At our client, you'll collaborate with some of the most brilliant Engineers globally, engaging in cutting-edge mobile application development.

The team is seeking a Mobile Application Developer proficient in React Native and PHP to join the team and work on building a better experience for users to submit insurance claims using Mobile application. The Mobile Developer will work with skilled software engineers, product managers and application users bringing a vision of tools into reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build the secure, intuitive, fast, and beautiful app for Insurance Claims
  • Quickly take on new concepts, ranging from submitting and updating insurance claims and apply your knowledge to leave the world better than you found it
  • Push your first PR with your own code to the app in your first week
  • Form protobuf data contracts with partner teams for the pragmatic implementation of scalable features designed in concert with engineering, product, and design teams
  • Own a portion of the app and care about its overall quality and performance, write documentation, and review code contributed by team members building in your space
  • Focus over keeping processes, code, and tooling as safe, fast, and beautiful as our app, and bring other teams up to our high standards, so we enjoy our work experience while we build something our users love
  • Use first principles thinking to continually optimize processes and practices, for the purpose of providing better experiences for customers faster
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-3 years of experience shipping secure, fast, and pixel-perfect mobile apps for iOS and Android, with a preference for experience building cross-platform apps with React Native or related experience
  • Excellent knowledge of any modern programming language (TypeScript, Javascritpt, React.Native)
  • Professional or personal experience building products or experiences in one of the following domains is nice to have: Insurance, Claims, or cross-platform UI design system packages
  • Passion for our client's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
