10X ERP is a fast-growing, modern ERP platform built for small to mid-sized distributors. We power mission-critical operations, from real-time inventory to purchasing automation, and now we’re expanding our footprint with a fully custom ecommerce platform that integrates deeply with the 10X ERP API.

Our ecommerce solution already handles high-volume B2B traffic and millions of dollars in annual order flow, and we’re expanding the team to scale it for dozens of clients.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Next.js Developer (10+ years experience) to own the architecture, development, and ongoing evolution of our custom multi-tenant ecommerce application. This is not a CMS-based site. Every feature, workflow, and integration is built from the ground up for performance, reliability, and flexibility.

  • Ready to design and build the ecommerce engine powering dozens of businesses

You’ll work closely with our ERP engineering team to deeply integrate inventory, pricing, customer accounts, and automation features via our API.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a custom, multi-tenant Next.js ecommerce platform
  • Single codebase with dedicated Supabase database and Vercel deployment per client
  • Architect scalable, performant frontend and backend solutions using Next.js 16
  • Build new features from scratch, rewrite and modernize existing components, and ensure long-term maintainability
  • Integrate tightly with the 10X ERP API: inventory, pricing, customer data, order sync, quoting, and more
  • Optimize for high traffic and high transaction volume (thousands of daily users per client)
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to deliver pixel-perfect experiences
  • Use AI-first development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to accelerate productivity while maintaining exceptional quality
  • Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, code reviews, and dev-ops workflow

Requirements

Required
  • 10+ years professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years building production apps with Next.js (ideally App Router)
  • Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering
  • Experience building large-scale, high-traffic applications
  • Expertise with relational databases — ideally PostgreSQL / Supabase
  • Experience deploying and tuning apps on Vercel
  • Strong architectural skills — caching, edge functions, incremental static regeneration, API routing, DB design, and more
  • AI-native development mindset — comfortable using agentic and code-assist tools to move fast
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication skills in a remote environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience with B2B or B2C ecommerce
  • Familiarity with ERP or other mission-critical systems
  • Experience with multi-tenant architectures
  • Understanding of Stripe, tax providers, and other ecommerce integrations
