Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team You will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment, as well as training apprentices on the job.

You are a Journeyman Electrician with a commitment to quality in your work. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in passing on your expertise to apprentices in training. A positive attitude is a must

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment
  • Determine condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs
  • Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
  • Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects
  • Follow established processes and procedures
  • Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer
Qualifications
  • Connecticut Electrician License (E1 or E2)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Physically able to lift heavy objects as necessary
  • Professional appearance and personality

Compensation: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour

Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC) is a construction industry trade association representing Merit Shop contractors in Connecticut.
