AI/ML Solution Architect

The Role

Would you like to help shape the future of Fidelity's AI/ML platforms and strategy? The AI/ML Solution Architect plays a key role in Enterprise AI Architecture team. Our technology powers AI solutions across the Enterprise supporting each Business Unit on their AI journey.

The Enterprise AI team delivers these solutions using a mix of vendor and in-house built technology that underlies traditional ML model training and hosting as well as accessing and leveraging Generative AI models. The team provides foundational capabilities to supporting the entire lifecycle of AI from data sourcing, model training, governance, hosting, and monitoring. The AI Architecture plays a key role in defining technical strategies, evaluations, and blueprints for the core platforms as well as consultation across the enterprise for building AI solutions.

The Solution Architect works closely with business sponsors, project managers, engineers, and architects to develop strategies, standards, policies, and recommendations to develop best of class solutions for our associates and customers. This role leads the end-to-end architecture and is responsible for ensuring solutions meet strategic business and technical goals. The Solution Architect should enjoy open collaboration across teams, owning the outcome, and be well versed in both hands-on technical challenges and communicating strategies to partners.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• MS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field or equivalent experience

• Experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead

• Experience delivering AI/ML Solutions preferably at a large Enterprise

• Expertise in AI/ML concepts, techniques, and development

• Expertise in managing model development lifecycle including governance

• Experience with SageMaker or other ML training environment

• Experience integrating with Large Language Models (LLMs) from OpenAI, Bedrock, etc

• Experience developing platform strategies for large scale Enterprise solutions

• Experience with Python, Jupyter, or other Data Science language

• Experience with cloud native AWS and/or Azure AI tools

• Expertise with CI/CD and unit test practices / Test Driven Development

• Knowledgeable of API Management and domain driven design

• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and provide end-to-end reference architecture designs

• Strong interpersonal skills who can clearly articulate and influence design solutions

The Team

As a member of the architecture team, you will take part in developing new platforms and capabilities that are the foundation for AI/ML used across the organization.. You will work with architecture and application teams to help champion innovation, drive standardization and deliver on new technology for our associates and customers.

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-255,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
