Work Type: Contract - 30% Field / 70% Remote
Travel: Within the Atlanta market (up to 2-hour driving radius) - must have own vehicle

Overview
We are seeking an experienced 5G Wireless Deployment Engineer to support large-scale 5G network projects across the Atlanta market. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong Samsung USM or WFM experience, capable of running a market independently while ensuring high-quality deployment and performance of wireless infrastructure.
This position combines field work (30%) for on-site verification, troubleshooting, and coordination with remote work (70%) for planning, monitoring, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, engineer, and oversee the deployment of 5G wireless network infrastructure within the assigned market.
  • Utilize Samsung tools (USM/WFM) to manage site progress, configurations, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate and track build progress, integrations, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure all hardware and software implementations align with engineering standards and project requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and provide timely resolution for any deployment-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment timelines and quality.
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and communication for all assigned sites and activities.
  • Apply creative problem-solving and sound engineering judgment to achieve project goals with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of experience in wireless network engineering or 5G deployment
  • Proven experience working with Samsung 5G equipment, USM, or WFM platforms - required
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure design, implementation, and performance monitoring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to manage a market independently with minimal oversight
  • OSHA certification highly desirable (not required)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local travel within the Atlanta market
