JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Maintenance Planner

Location: Bedford, NH

Department: Engineering

Reporting To: Project Engineer

Responsible For (Staff): No

The Maintenance Planner leads efforts to improve work force productivity, increase the efficiency/quality of maintenance work, and lead teams in preparation of maintenance work to achieve a high degree of quality completion for planned work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacts with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and managers to identify key criteria to aid in the scheduling of maintenance work.

  • Prioritization of work packages, plan resource commitments, verifying parts needed for maintenance work.

  • Manage tracking open work requests and work packages that have been planned and are awaiting scheduling.

  • Maintain CMMS database master data including updates to maintenance plans and spare parts requirements.

  • Develops and maintains tracking spreadsheets to provide performance metrics and trend analysis of the maintenance organization.

  • Prepares, sends, and updates critical maintenance scheduling communications to team members.

  • Conduct meetings related to both planning and scheduling to ensure good communication within team.

  • Highly skilled in prioritizing assignments and establishing effective working relationships.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED required; relevant technical or trade experience preferred.

  • 2-5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance planning; preferably in a cGMP / pharmaceutical setting

  • Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., MAXIMO, SAP, BMRAM)

  • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, or similar continuous improvement methodologies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Results-driven with a high commitment to quality and compliance

Special Demands:

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
