A respected and growing General Contractor specializing in federal and military construction is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager to join their team. This is a traveling position that offers nationwide project experience, a competitive per diem and travel package, and the backing of a company known for integrity, consistency, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance to ensure project delivery meets contract requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with USACE/NAVFAC standards and federal contract specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Safety, and Field Operations to maintain project excellence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Contracting Officers, CORs, and government representatives.
- Lead project meetings, monitor progress, and proactively resolve issues that impact scope, cost, or schedule.
- 5+ years of project management experience in federal or military construction.
- Strong understanding of USACE/NAVFAC standards and the three-phase inspection process.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects from start to finish.
- CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) certification preferred.
- OSHA 30 required or ability to obtain.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
