Senior Tax Accountant

Vaco Boston has partned with our client in Boston, MA to help find a Senior Tax Accountant to join its team. This position is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns
  
• Support the Director of Tax Services and act as backup when needed
  
• Provide expert tax guidance and participate in staff hiring and evaluations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  
• 7 years of experience with a focus on complex returns
  
• Background in mid-sized or larger firms
  
• Strong understanding of tax codes and compliance
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
  
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
