We're seeking an energetic, member-focused Wellness Center Manager to oversee daily operations of our Wellness Centers at the Summit and Berkeley Heights branches. This hands-on leader will help create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment that supports members in achieving their health and wellness goals while modeling the Y's values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

- Manage daily operations of the Wellness Centers at the Summit and Berkeley Heights branches, ensuring consistency in quality, service, and safety.
- Lead by example-spend at least 50% of your time on the wellness floor engaging members and supporting staff.
- Train, schedule, and supervise wellness staff across both locations.
- Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and organization of all wellness areas.
- Coordinate member engagement initiatives such as fitness challenges, orientations, and special events.
- Address member concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with program directors and branch leadership to support YMCA wellness programming.
This full-time, non exempt-level position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week. This role generally works Monday-Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/ hour, based on experience.

Requirements
Qualifications :
- Minimum of two years of previous experience in Fitness/Wellness role.
- An associates degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education/ certification and/ or experience.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology.
- Strong computer skills
- CPR/ AED certified
- Demonstrated maturity and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
