Maintenance Technician
Location: Winter Springs, Florida
Pay: Starting at $ 25.00 /hr. (More for relevant experience & education above what is required)
Job Type: PRN or Part-Time / Non-Exempt

We're looking for a detail-loving, hard working Maintenance Technician, toperform repairs and preventative maintenance on IMPOWER properties and ensures systems and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent operating order

What You'll Do:

  • Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs of IMPOWER facilities and equipment in a timely and professional manner
  • .Complete preventative maintenance as needed
  • Assist in keeping groups neat and free of litter and debris
  • Reviews inventory of maintenance, cleaning and janitorial supplies and follows established procedures in the ordering and purchase of needed materials
  • Aid in preparation for and during health and fire inspections as requested
  • Ability to diagnose and/or replace appliances and equipment
  • Maintains a safe working environment and ensures tools are secured and accounted for daily
  • Reports all emergency/safety issues to supervisor immediately and follows through with repairs within 24 hours
  • Maintain client files with all required case management documentation and updated client information.
What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance or related work.
  • Must have a valid Florida driver's license, auto insurance & acceptable driving record.
  • Successful background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State and County
  • Negative result from a multi panel drug screen
