Experienced Application Migration Lead with expertise in Java and .NET applications and database migration/configuration to support a large-scale Application
Data Migration Program under ITAR compliance
Required 7-10 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in application migration and modernization
Strong hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE applications (Struts, Spring, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss) and .NET applications ( ASP.NET , .NET Core, IIS, Windows Services)
Databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL - schema changes, stored procedures, DB config)
Proven experience in application configuration changes (API endpoints, DB connectivity, IAM/SSO, domain/IP/firewall updates)
Familiarity with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SnapLogic, Informatica)
Knowledge of cyber provisioning dependencies (DNS, IAM, certificates, encryption, monitoring)
Demonstrated ability to deliver under ITAR/government compliance requirements
Prior experience working in ITAR-controlled environments (Aerospace, Defense, DoD projects)
Hands-on exposure to cloud migration scenarios (Azure)
Knowledge of compliance-driven database migration requirements (data residency, export control)
Responsible for application migration, configuration updates while ensuring alignment with data migration and compliance requirements
Lead migration and configuration of Java and .NET-based enterprise applications across On-Prem, HIC, and Cloud environments
Modify application config files, API endpoints, DB connections, logging, and authentication mechanisms (IAM/SSO) to align with the target environment
Rebuild and validate integrations with middleware tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SnapLogic, Informatica) where required
Apply application-level changes to support firewall, IP/domain, and network modifications
Work closely with Data Migration teams to validate schema changes, stored procedures, triggers, and application-DB dependencies
Align application cutovers with database migration, copy, checksum, and validation activities
Support data purging and compliance-driven changes (ITAR/Export control requirements)
Troubleshoot application-to-database connectivity issues during migration cutover
Drive application readiness for each migration wave (medium/high complexity apps)
Coordinate SIT, UAT and regression testing for migrated applications
Operate onsite in customer's secure location to meet ITAR compliance requirements
Ensure all changes to applications and databases follow ITAR regulatory and security controls
Maintain documentation and audit trails for ITAR compliance
Act as the primary onsite liaison between App Owners, Data Migration teams, Infra/Cyber provisioning, and customer SMEs
