MS&A Junior Systems Engineer

BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional systems engineer with experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system. This systems engineer will assist the United States Air Force manage its internal MS&A efforts for Sentinel program, analyzing the Prime contractor’s MS&A data modules, and preparing reports for model validation. The candidate will interface with the Prime Contractor to ensure it meets the U.S. Government’s intent with respect to MS&A products and artifacts. The candidate will also consult to the USAF system program office concerning MS&A topics. This unique position will allow the candidate to view all MS&A efforts for the Sentinel weapon system and will provide great growth potential.

B.S. in a STEM field with 0-2 years of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) experience, or M.S. in a STEM field with 0 years of MS&A experience.

Strong communication skills.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions. Translates customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $57866 - $98372
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
