Lead Software Engineer in Golang

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Lead Software Engineer to become an essential part of our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in designing and creating high-performance, scalable software solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including Golang, AWS, and React. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, transforming innovative ideas into reality while spearheading significant projects from initial concept through to deployment. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable backend applications utilizing Golang.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers throughout the development process.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept to launch, ensuring high quality and punctuality in delivery.
  • Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for quality assurance.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security by adhering to best practices in cloud-based solutions.
  • Serve as a technical mentor for other engineers, providing code reviews, architectural guidance, and fostering knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the tech stack and the engineering culture.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, and monitor application performance in production settings.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help shape engineering strategies and advocate for ongoing improvement and innovation.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in Golang, with experience in concurrency and utilizing standard libraries.
  • Strong proficiency in backend technologies, including at least 2 years of experience with Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Proven history of building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Exposure to frontend development using React-based frameworks for at least 1 year.
  • Proficient in Git and familiar with version control best practices.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Experience in the banking or fintech sectors is an advantage.
