Job Description: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Owings Mills, Maryland (Hybrid Role)
Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) where you'll design, develop, and implement both automated and manual test frameworks. This hybrid role in Owings Mills, Maryland, offers a perfect blend of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and in-house software utilities.
  • Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases.
  • dhere to established software engineering best practices and standards.
  • Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards.
  • Gather and analyze requirements to develop automation test scenarios.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform.
  • pply test-driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities.
  • Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA or equivalent education or experience.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Hands-on experience in creating test plans, test scenarios, and executing tests.
  • Proficient in crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Selenium (TestNG), JMeter, Postman.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured.
  • Proficient with Jenkins as a CI Tool and configuration.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Highly collaborative individual with the ability to influence and build strong partner relationships.
  • Hands-on experience in driving innovation processes from end-to-end.
  • Background in DevOps is a plus.
