bout the Role
EyeMed is seeking a Sr. Configuration Analyst to join the Business Configuration Solutions team. This role is approximately 60% hands-on configuration and 40% cross-functional leadership-facilitating and representing the configuration workstream in meetings, capturing business requirements, and ensuring delivery across multiple Medicaid program implementations. You'll design, implement, and execute benefit configuration strategies, lead configuration projects, and act as a subject matter expert (SME) interfacing with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet client requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Configuration workstream for large Government implementations (Medicaid, Med/Surgical, Medicare).
  • Design & execute benefit configuration strategies; prototype and troubleshoot complex Medicaid products.
  • Partner cross-functionally (40%): lead meetings, elicit/capture requirements, document processes, and represent the configuration function with internal and client stakeholders.
  • Data analysis & troubleshooting across configuration toolsets and automated processes; prepare and validate data (dedupe, error/outlier handling).
  • Build SQL queries to pull/validate backend data aligned to configuration needs.
  • Business analysis & testing: author requirements and process flows; plan/execute testing for enhancements that improve automation.
  • Self-manage workload to hit SLAs and team KPIs; report on progress/risks.
  • Roadmap collaboration: work with Configuration leadership to advance automation of EyeMed's product and network offerings.
  • Fit/Gap analysis on new client plans to support onboarding and scale.
  • Stakeholder management: build effective relationships across EyeMed leadership and partner teams.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Demonstrated split of duties: ~60% configuration / 40% cross-functional leadership & requirements.
  • Hands-on SQL / Database experience (write queries for data pulls and validation).
  • Healthcare claims & benefit configuration knowledge.
  • FACETS platform experience (claims testing, benefit/provider configuration).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Communication & facilitation skills to lead meetings and represent the configuration workstream.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience with FACETS and medical plan benefit configuration.
  • Experience with Provider Network & Agreement Configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid programs and requirements.
  • Quick learner, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
