Principal API Software Engineer

Work with data science business-unit teams to drive agentic AI requests into API MCP connections
Standardize individual client-based APIs into one general API framework to link agents to data sources
End-to-end program and deployment support of API gateways and accesses
Contribute to agentic AI builds within Gen AI frameworks and provide functionality input to data science/engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, or 2+ years at a Principal Engineer level in an enterprise environment
Extensive experience supporting API design in Java and .NET, including Gateway/DevSecOps deployment for access granting and authorization
5+ years of experience with GCP/AWS
Expertise in Gen AI/Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph) and interface with data science teams to connect agents to APIs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

MCP (Model Context Protocol) knowledge/experience to translate agent data to API data source
Insurance systems experience including claims, policy, pricing, etc.
Google Professional Cloud Architect/AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) certifications
