Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

The Lead Full Stack Software Engineer will take complete ownership of innovative features and products, both new and existing. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about speed, quality, and user impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Qualifications/Competencies/Skills:

• Proficient in Javascript, Typescript, React, Next.js, Serverless & Edge functions, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Nice to have: Experience with Python.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Preferred: Experience in a startup environment.

Squad Alignment:

The Lead Full Stack Software Engineer may join one of the following squads based on their expertise and interests:

Squad 1:

• Focus: Frontend development with a keen eye for design systems and full-stack capabilities.
• Skills: Strong database skills and an understanding of querying tradeoffs.

Squad 2:

• Focus: Enhancing team practices and workflows with creative inputs.
• Skills: Experience with integrations, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and strong database proficiency (e.g., PostgreSQL).

Squad 3:

• Focus: DevOps, data engineering, advanced Python, or infrastructure automation; particularly someone who values developer experience and automated processes.
