Position Summary

The Principal Supply Chain Analyst serves as a strategic architect and analytical authority for Empower Pharmacy's integrated supply network. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this role drives enterprise-level planning, forecasting, and optimization initiatives that directly influence production continuity, national distribution, and customer delivery performance. Operating at the intersection of operations, finance, and commercial strategy, the Principal Supply Chain Analyst leads the development of predictive models, scenario simulations, and performance frameworks that enable data-informed decision-making across Empower's rapidly scaling pharmaceutical network. This position supports multi-site operations, complex regulatory environments, and the ongoing digital transformation of Empower's supply systems to ensure alignment with corporate growth goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads cross-functional planning to align demand, capacity, and inventory strategies across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics functions.
  • Develops and applies predictive models and digital tools to forecast material needs, optimize network performance, and improve supplier reliability.
  • Translates complex operational and financial data into actionable insights that mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and support executive decision-making.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and ERP optimization to enhance throughput, cost efficiency, and service levels.
  • Partners with Finance, Quality, and IT to advance automation, analytics integration, and system intelligence across Empower's supply platforms.
  • Mentors analysts and cross-functional teams on best practices in data analytics, forecasting, and strategic supply optimization.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Proven ability to operate independently, influence senior stakeholders, and drive cross-functional alignment using data-driven insights.
  • Advanced Excel, Structured Query Language, and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing systems knowledge required; experience with Power Business Intelligence, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools strongly preferred.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain analytics or operations within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related regulated industries, demonstrating proficiency in data analysis, demand forecasting, and supplier performance management.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business analytics, or a related discipline; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt strongly preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
