Job Summary:
Job Description and Technical Skill:
This job posting is for a Senior Systems Developer in a high availability OLTP application on HPE/Tandem Nonstop Systems.
This candidate must have experience with the Client OS, Languages if C/C++ and TAL, protocols of TCP/IP, formats of ISO8583.
dditional experience in formats Base24, Connex, VISA, Client, Client, Link, Pulse, Client.
MQ knowledge and Web fast testing tools is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develops moderately complex code using both front and/or back-end programming languages within multiple platforms as needed in collaboration with business and technology teams for internal and external client software solutions. Designs, creates, and delivers moderately complex program specifications for code development and support on multiple projects/issues with a wide understanding of the application / database to better align interactions and technologies.
Provides broad and in-depth knowledge of analysis, modification, and development of complex code/unit testing in order to develop concise application documentation. Performs and advises on testing, validation requirements, and corrective measures for complex code deficiencies and provides systemic proposals.
Participates in client facing meetings, joint venture discussions, vendor partnership teams to determine solution approaches.
Provides advice to leadership on the design, development and enforcement of business / infrastructure application standards to include associated controls, procedures and monitoring to ensure compliance and accuracy of data. Applies a full understanding and in-depth knowledge of procedures, methodology and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.
Develops, administers and recommends billable hours and resource estimates on complex initiatives, projects, and issues.
ssists with on-the-job training and provides in-depth expertise and advice to software engineers.

Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field.
8+ years professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data and experience with IBM Rational Tools
Experience with JAVA and OSS.
Typically minimum of 6 years - Professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data on the /HPE Nonstop.
Hands-on HPE NonStop Systems development experience using Tools and Languages including C/C++, COBOL, TACL, TAL, ENSCRIBE, SQL, PATHWAY, Tandem internal messaging system, TCP/IP socket programming, MQ, FUP, SQLCI, Host security module (Atalla), tokenization and encryption.
Experience developing high availability, high transactional, and scalable systems.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Detailed knowledge parsing, interpreting, and reading ISO8583 message formats such as VISA, Client, Client, Client, Pulse, Link, and Base24 to include in-depth programming and desk checking.
Experience with ISO8583 test simulators
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle: Agile, Waterfall
Someone that can work as a team, and an individual. Be able to convey ideas in a constructive tone, verbal and written. Someone that can think, lead, follow, and coordinate.
Mentoring experience.
