As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's CIB Data Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, or Philadelphia, PA. and/or Cleveland, OH. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Business Analytics Consultant within PNC’s CIB Data Analytics organization you will join the Data Analytics and Solutions team supporting our Corporate Institutional & Banking division to work on various strategic initiatives supporting Data Analytics & Solutions You will leverage emerging technologies to create innovative data products and streamlined solutions to drive Corporate & Institutional Banking business growth.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver structured and unstructured data from multiple sources using modern ETL/ELT frameworks.

• Perform advanced data wrangling and manipulation to clean, enrich, and prepare datasets for analytical modeling, dashboarding, and business decision-making.

• Architect and maintain robust data environments, including data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions that support strategic initiatives.

• Develop reusable data assets and engineering standards, promoting consistency, automation, and best practices across analytics projects and platforms.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (e.g., Analytics, STEM, etc.)

• 3+ years of practical experience with data analysis / data wrangling (R/Python preferred)

• Knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.), human-centered design and/or web application development (including R Shiny, Bokeh, etc.)

• SQL proficiency and basic understanding of database designs

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Intellectual curiosity

• Proven project management and leadership skills

• Experience with marketing analytics preferred (web traffic analysis, e-mail campaigns, social media data APIs, etc.)

Job Description

  • Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.

  • Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.

  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.

  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.

  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $142,350.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
