Description
The Springfield-Branson National Airport is looking for an Inventory & Asset Accounting Technician. The successful candidate will coordinate and maintain inventory and asset management systems used across multiple Airport divisions and provide operation and maintenance divisions with support in acquisition and payment processing. This position will analyze and extract technical information from various databases and systems to prepare various summaries and reports for both internal and external use.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform highly detailed data analysis related to accounting functions and inventory management for airport budget and inventory systems.
  • Coordinate, manage, and analyze data using databases, spreadsheets, and advanced analytical tools.
  • Track, document, and maintain the complete asset history, including lifecycle costs and maintenance records for airport infrastructure, facilities, and equipment.
  • Assist in financial data preparation, reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience, Education, and Training
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field;
AND
  • One year of appropriate experience in accounting, procurement, or inventory management.
  • Directly related work experience may be substituted for formal education on a year-for-year basis, but a minimum of 15 credit hours in accounting coursework from an accredited college is required.
PREFERRED
  • Experience in procurement and inventory control of goods within an industrial environment and/or government accounting.
Licensing/Certification
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
