Senior Full Stack Java Developer

What does a successful Senior Software Developer - Full stack do at Fiserv?

We design and deliver scalable, secure full-stack software that advances financial services by leading technical direction, building and maintaining high-quality front- and back-end applications, collaborating across teams to solve client problems, and mentoring colleagues to raise the team's performance.

What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end design, development and implementation of software that meets business and client needs by partnering with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications within Agile delivery cycles.

  • Write, test and debug production-grade front-end and back-end code, and deliver reliable, high-quality features.

  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, drive peer reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure long-term maintainability and quality.

  • Implement, operate and support CI/CD and DevOps practices to automate builds, tests and deployments and accelerate reliable delivery.

  • Mentor and coach junior developers, share technical guidance and best practices, and help the team continuously raise its performance.

What you will need to have:

  • 8+ years building full-stack applications with Java / J2EE and front-end technologies such as Struts, JSP and React.

  • 5+ years designing, querying and optimizing SQL databases and data integrations.

  • 2+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) combined with 2+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation for scalable, reliable delivery.

  • 5+ years contributing in Agile teams, collaborating across functions to plan, deliver and iterate on features.

What would be nice to have:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $186,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
