Description

Lakeshore Beverage is looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to join their Arlington Heights warehouse as a Receptionist.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answers the phone with warm professionalism and assists callers with transfers, contacts, and general information

  • Welcomes and directs visitors

  • Verifies and updates retailer liquor licenses

  • Maintains current retailer CRT-61 forms

  • Updates accounts on statewide wine & spirits delinquency and publishes daily No-Sell list

  • Completes and responds to retailer and state agency requests via email

  • Maintains employee and department directories

  • Maintains security by following procedures

  • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.

  • Maintains safe and clean reception area.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Maintains an appropriate level of supplies for the facility and orders as necessary

The perfect candidate for this role will have the following skills:

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Reliable and punctual

  • General computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Able to prioritize work in order to meet strict deadlines as well as multitask effectively

  • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • A high level of organization

Must Have:

  • Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Office management: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Customer service: 4 years (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)

Qualifications

Preferred requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience, or other related field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with route accounting systems would be a plus

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
