Job Summary and Qualifications

Your primary role as the RN Trauma Coordinator will be to assist with the care of obstetrical trauma patients while ensuring a patient/family-centered approach. You’ll work within our established protocols and will be available for trauma activations at all times. This includes:

  • Active participation in the care of patients throughout their hospital journey from the Trauma Resuscitation bay to Radiology, OR, PACU, and ICU.
  • Collaboration with the Director of Trauma Services and Trauma Medical Director to promote quality care.
  • Identifying opportunities for performance improvement and developing actionable plans.

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program completion within 90 days of start date.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course completion within 90 days of start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license within 90 days of start date.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
