Salary Range: $20.73 - $28.68

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver outstanding internal medicine services. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with our internal medicine team to enhance patient care and ensure a positive experience for our patients.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) actively participates in implementing and evaluating patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring patient health, comfort, and safety.
  • Documenting thorough medical histories.
  • Contributing to patient assessments and administering medications or treatments as prescribed.
  • Providing technical support to healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Counseling patients and family members on prevention and treatment plans under a registered nurse's guidance.

The LPN will exhibit competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and apply appropriate standards for various age groups in the assigned clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Must have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or possess a minimum of 400 hours of experience as an RN or LPN.
  • Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of practice is required.
